{"id":3450,"date":"2026-05-20T12:54:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T12:54:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/museobarcalariana.it\/gioielli\/lakes-series-no-8\/"},"modified":"2026-07-15T10:29:46","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T10:29:46","slug":"lakes-series-no-8","status":"publish","type":"gioielli","link":"https:\/\/www.museobarcalariana.it\/en\/gioielli\/lakes-series-no-8\/","title":{"rendered":"Lakes Series No. 8"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 1L registration plate is used for boats registered on Lake Como, which is known as \u201cPrimo Lago\u201d (First Lake).<br\/>This boat once belonged to Countess Carlangela Durini of Monza and was donated to the Museo Barca Lariana by her daughter, Rita Ajmone-Cat, along with the plaques and medals won by her beloved mother in the 1920s during the Lake Como regattas organized by the Regio Elice Club Italiano.<br\/>Carlangela Durini married Mario Ajmone-Cat, the first Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force during the republican era.
