Sala Racers – Seven Years for a Record

This room houses the boats piloted by engineer Carlo Leto di Priolo in his never-ending quest to break every speed record

In the foreground is the Pucico hull, built by the Vidoli shipyard based on a design by Engineer Bagnato. The Pucico, piloted by Carlo Leto of Priolo, set the speed record for the 450-kg class on May 14, 1949, at the Idroscalo in Milan. It was powered by an extremely powerful Maserati engine.
Next, in the hall, are all the other Series X race cars built by Angelo Molinari and powered by Engineer Leto di Priolo himself.
